Hello! Some of you may already know me. In the past I have been active on several Miata enthusiast forums and recently was persuaded to join up here. Just thought I'd stop by to say hello.
Here is my 1991 Miata. I've had it for a little over 8 years and it remains a work in progress. I'm sure many of you can relate!
The Miata is going into storage for the winter. In the meantime, I picked up this 2013 Volkswagen GTI 4DR DSG Autobahn.
I love it so far. The VW is great for picking up race car / motorcycle parts and handling daily driver duties, thus freeing up the Miata for participation in track days and more extensive modifications as I no longer have to worry about the Miata being my primary mode of transportation.
Although the 2.0TSI engine responds well to mods, my GTI will remain completely stock. Play money is still going towards the Miata and my Honda CB350 race bike build. I've got plans for new springs/shocks and a new clutch for the Miata next spring. And I've got a spare head on the workbench and ITBs waiting to be installed. So that should be fun

... I miss: My running peeps in Tampa, running barefoot @ Clearwater Beach and First Choice BBQ, in Brandon. In So Cal I miss: The Malibu Canyons, CA 33 and In & Out Burgers ! I'm from Tampa, if I was from Tampa Bay, I'd be a fish!
