I got a touch-up in a can from automotivetouchup.com. I was first in doubt about the paint matching, as someone told me here that there was 4 shades of montego blue. I think his name was (The-Driver). However, I lucked out. I bought a 12oz aerosol spray or base-coat (M8) and a high build primer. It was like $30 bucks which is not bad. The base-coat spray can was better match than my hardtop that I had painted recently.
This is a waterbone paint, probably harder to match.
I painted the part where the rubber trunk stopper sit when the trunk is down. I guess it rubbed the paint off enough to cause it to rust, so I had to sand the rust down, shoot it with self etching primer aka the green stuff, two coats of high build primer, and 4 coats of base coat. in addition, I put an adhesive circle tape for added protection.
This is the good stuff.
Overall I'm very happy with the product, so if anyone here needs a touchup paint go to automotivetouchup.com
