    Eli's 93 LE

I first want to start off by giving a big thanks to my good friends Randy (Phatmiata) and Peter (Oldgrayleather) for giving me guru knowledge in the community and helping me find my car.

I started my build almost a year ago even before I purchased my 93le. At the time, I knew I either wanted a 95m for it's 1.8L and beautiful merlot mica paint or the 93le because of it's rarity and amazing interior. Over the year of searching for a car, I made a handful of offers on different cars all over the country, but luck and time was not on my side. I decided to be patient and on a random Thursday, Peter sent me a message of a 93le located in Colorado that was within my budget and desired milage. I called the seller the same day and booked the flight. I flew out to Colorado early fathers day, purchased the car, and drove it back to Southern California. Unfortunately I had to drive through a storm in the Colorado Rockies and the scorching heat through Utah/Nevada. Lucky for me, the car handled the drive like a champ without overheating.

    About the Car:
    - 1993 Mazda Miata MX-5 Special Edition
    - 55k miles on the clock, 3 owners prior to me.
    - Original everything except the wheels
    - Paint 7/10 and interior 7/10. For being 25 years old, I'll take it.

I envy you guys. You have the option to buy clean, OEM cars with the red interior, and I am trying to collect the parts bit by bit for over two years, and still miss some.

Congrats on the purchase, it looks really clean!

Thanks for the love from the Mediterranean! Sorry to hear about that. Although there may be quite a bit out here, it takes a lot of time to find a clean one. You should hit up Phatmiata. He is selling the door cards and seats!
