If I find the car that I am looking for with all the options I want and price, the NB will be gone. Not sure to what extent the car will be parted out, but I know there will be some parts that will be taken off for sure. For me, the 16s look a little big on the NB.

But as of right now, I am debating on dropping the Lotus seats off at the upholsterer.

Recovered in proper 93LE red, right? So when you sell them to me they'll match better than they do now. ;)

Don't flatter yourself. I implicitly wrote "friend". ;)

So I have been looking for ways to lower my seating position for a few months now. After those months of searching, I have found my solution. Enter RyokuRob Lotus Seat mounts. These had come in today after finally finding a source. Thanks Kenjo! I only needed the drivers side so I still have the Flipside brackets on the passenger side. I know I can't slide the seat back and forth but I have been the only one driving my car the past year so no big deal. So here they are in all their glory.

So initial thoughts. First, these were well made. High quality product. Second, I have quite a bit of room now between my legs and the steering wheel. It sits pretty low. So low that I had to make a big adjustment on the rear view mirror. Definitely happy with the purchase. Thanks again Kenjo!

So after a drive to work, I like it. It took me a bit to get used to the lower seating position but I like it. Next is to try and reduce the squeaking of the hardtop.

Looks great, but to be fair I have a hard time seeing right in front of the car even with my Elise seats mounted on the runners (1.72m height) Squeaky HT high in my priorities as well...

I stand at about 5'10"/5'11" so it ends up working out pretty good for me. I still need some time with it just to get used to it. But yes, squeaky hardtop needs to be corrected.

Where do the squeaks emit from?

I was running the Ryoku rob bracket in my car for a good amount of time. I'm 5'7" so I really felt I was driving low and nicely centered in my car. I loved the perfect communication my butt had with the chassis as well on those mounts. I since worked out a trade deal for one of the sliding mounts that Quinn had on his NB lotus seats and now I like that the seats can slide back and forth, and brought me up for a better view out front, but there is a bit of a disconnect now from the half a mm of play the sliding rails allow for.

Sounds like the rear passenger side of the hardtop. Little bit of a rattle but squeaky also.

I have the Flipside Driver mount on a set of sliders that I will more than likely put up for sale. They worked nice but I prefer the lower mount. Wish I had the slider feature but it's ok.
