View Full Version : Parking lot at Tokyo ND reveal!
I walked over to Maihama the day of the reveal (missed online registration, though, so wasn't able to get inside unfortunately) and got to see a lot of the cool Roadsters that made it out to the event! Thought you guys might enjoy the pictures. I'm still scanning them, so there are more on the way. Later, though; it's bed time now lol.

D-Technique 1001 you have to have the bumper that goes with it too.
I just scanned a few more this morning. I shot a roll and a half roughly at the event, and these are just the 'half roll'. I'd keep going, but I've got to go buy a colander so I can make something besides sandwiches lol.
Also, sorry the long focal length photos (200mm) are blurry/out of focus and the wide angle shots have some vignetting (polarizer is a little tall). The grain too, sorry about the grain. I bought this 400 film at Skytree on the walk over and didn't expect it to be so grainy for in-date film (actually, the grainy ones are a bit underexposed; first time using auto shutter speed, should have used exposure lock).

Love the shots!! "Thanks Given" for the updates!!
I was a little scared about the main roll because I accidentally overexposed it by 3 stops (I'd been shooting a lot of ISO 50 film and was so excited about the Roadsters, I forgot to adjust the camera). But after scanning one frame, I see color negative film is awesome and it turned out pretty alright, despite me lol.

This is about what the rest will look like, which is good because this is really the more interesting roll.

Thanks man. I don't know if it's that good lol, but I'm trying hard to improve my photography while I'm over here, so I'll be taking a lot more shots.
It took a couple days, but I finished scanning the rest. One warning, though: I left a didymium red-intensifing filter on my lens for this roll (I just got it before I left Texas, so I left it on for a few rolls to see what kind of effect it yields), so all the red cars are... intense. Now I know not to use it on red colored subjects.
