Lol. After adding up all the costs and whatnot, this is roughly a $13,000 car give or take. I'd much rather piece it out as I don't want anyone to have the same car i built. It's just another blue potato waiting to happen.

And even if I did trade it for something else, there is only one thing I'd trade it for. And that is a big block 4 speed1968-72 corvette. That is my dream car and always has been. Haha.


But we will see what happens. I have not decided yet. I am getting out of the military in 5 months and once I am out, I no longer will have a garage, so it'll no longer be safely put away at night. It sucks having something you are so scared of getting stolen or broken into. Insurance won't do anything since it is just a plain 94 Miata to them. I'd loose several thousands if it were stolen. I'm thinking of renting a unit to park it in during the night, but I'm not sure if that is worth the hassle. I just know I need something plain and unmodified for the most part so I am not always nervous about it disappearing overnight.

We will see what happens though.

I'm sorry to see this come about, but I'm sure you would rather have several thousand bucks extra in the bank when you get out of the Corps. Just for kicks, give me a price for all the red LE stuff, your whole Nakamae and Le interior. I wouldn't put it into another black car, out of respect for the time and effort you put into your car. I think it would look pretty great in a silver or white car as well.

Happily, we have lots of cheap, non rotted out Miatas back here in Georgia, so you don't have to stay carless long. Heck, if you don't mind non originality, your C3 vette dreams are so tough either. You can spend your off hours down at buy-a-vette.net shopping.

I still don't know if I will go through with the partout. I really do love that damn thing, and there is still so much I want to do with it. haha. some days I am like Yes! sell it! others im like, NO! keep it! I have more no days than yes days. I think I just need another car to drive so I don't have to drive mine 24/7.

I am completely debt free now so I don't really have to sell it at all. I guess I can always put it away for later if I need to. haha. I am selling my smaller Harley when I get back and using that money for a bigger Harley. looking for a softail deluxe. but as for the car situation, I think I might go to a deal and finance a brand new mazda2 touring. for about $14,000 out the door, that's not too bad for a brand new car.
