Just got this

http://mazdaroadster.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=12655&d=1412140340

I'm having trouble getting the 23 year old original mounting screws out of my car. Seems they have gotten quite attached to the little guy.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone here knew if there are bolts on the back side or if the screws are reverse threaded.
I think I'll use a blowtorch to heat them up... 12656

On second thought a drill and an easy out are probably in my future :fp:

P.S. Why do they call it an easy out any way.

No bolts on the backside, and they are not reverse threaded, have you tried BP Blaster to loosen the screws?

8MM Socket should get them out...............

PB Blaster and use a socket, and not a Phillips head. Been a while but they should be a 8mm or 10mm bolt?

Yeah, PB blaster and a ratchet! Good choice on the fuel lid! I love mine!

Don't worry I did the same when I first fitted a zoom lid 8 year or so ago.
