Purchased a '99 NB about 3 weeks ago. Previous owner had installed a new Exedy Stage 1 clutch. Noticed the difference in the test drive but thought I might adjust. Well, I haven't. Considering going back to stock. This thing is exhausting. This is a daily driver in Metro Atl. Not the ease of driving I recall from other test drives and my other Miata.
Either that or I've just grown too old. Which is quite possible.
Anyway, any reason to suffer through with the current set up?
There are other things I can spend $$ on but this may jump to the top of the list.

I recently upgraded to an Exedy stage 1, I got used to it pretty quick, just give it some time and it will feel normal. Who knows, you might need it down the line if you boost-up your car. The stage 1 is suppose to hold up to 8 psi, but I heard from guys running 10 psi saying that it still reliable and holds the power. I would definitely keep that clutch. The centerforce & ACT stage 2 on my old MR2 turbo felt so much worse than the Exedy stage 1 on my miata.
