Helping a friend sort a pitcrew roadster.

This car had got into a bad way and a few months ago was ready to be scrapped due to rustl however I've helped a mate who owns it use people I know to get I back on the road. Still more to be done but so far:

1. Both sills repaired with lots of metal cut out and replaced.
2. Lots of service work like new radiator, plugs, leads, oil, filters, cam cover gasket, CAS o ring, disc and pads, etc.
3. Bodywork now being done so arches cut and Carbonmiata flares fitted and blended in.
4. New Coilovers being fitted not on yet.
5. New wide wheels to be fitted in a box at my mates.
6. Some Jdm parts to help finish it off like runabout mirrors, etc

Nice work! Are you keeping it red? I can't say I've seen any red Pitcrew Miatas (black, white, silver... GREEN). Does she has the Pitcrew tail too? MORE PICTURES!!!!!!!!

I hope those fenders are composite (CF or fiberglass), otherwise you'll experience cracking at the seam between the Pitcrew nose and the fenders in the future.

Yeah this car has the full conversion. Bodyshop is spot on. Think once it's done my mate will be happy.

Mate has his pitcrew back now after I've helped get it back from the scrap heap. Now has a had a lot of welding done, full respray, wheels, coilovers, mirrors. Still more to be done to the interior although thst has some nice parts already.

That Looks Great!

Think it needs lowering abit and will get some more Jdm interior goodies but a few months ago was fit for the scrap heap as was unroadworthy and not used in nearly 2 years so it's good to see the results so far.

Looks surprisingly good with those fender flares. Just a tad bit lower and some work on the inside and it'll be great just like you said!

Happy to have helped my mate with this as he wouldn't have know where to get the parts of the places to go to get this car back on the road. He is like a pig in shit at the moment as a car he has left for nearly 2 years now has a new lease of life.

Had a chat with my mate and bit of a battle plan to help him get it finished.

1. Both agreed it needs lowering abit more.
2. It's got Nielex door cards but looking at some parts from zoom, kg works, Nakamae to help make the inteiror.
3. Engine it's fairly stock but I helped source a arc chamber, polished cam cover, etc.
4. Seats need retrim as it has some nice cobra bucket seats but badly worn.
5. Unlike my black roadster which does seem too much in one colour I might suggest a stripe for this one to break up the red.
