View Full Version : Shock Dyno? How do you read them? (megan ez-street content)

I am almost set on buying megan ez-streets. But my question, How do you read shock dynos? Is this considered a "good" dyno? Good being very subjectovei considering these are $600 coils

Just looking at the lines 1 to 1 against 949's Xida Club-sports and FM's VMAXX (yes I know the xidas are on a COMPLETELY different level)

Looks to me as if those 2 dynos read completely opposite of each other.

If that dyno is correct the EZ Streets don't have much in the way of rebound to control stiff springs. I have a feeling that for some reason that the rebound is showing on the positive side on the EZ Street dyno.

Some dampers are primarily bounce-adjustable rather than rebound, just like you see in the top graph. If I remember right, the KYB AGX for NA was that way.

I also don't know how to read shock dynos.. Lol. Wanna figure it out too cause I'm in the market for coilovers as well.
