Erebuni was all knockoffs, they were the OBX of bodykits.

That was a ripoff of the Veilside Kit, and Erebuni called it the Shogun kit or something stupid like that.:fp:

moved these posts to a new thread, cont.....

The kit above is a Feels Widebody. I think I still have the issue the car was featured in.

Here is a Veilside kit someone molded to a Ford Probe Gt. I had a couple of Probes back in the day.

Oh, i remember my need for speed underground days where I would not like a car one bit unless it had a bodykit on it. that lasted til I was around 13. i also liked low riders and donks. I was a kid that saw no "wrong" way to customize car, just go out and do your thing.

Haha, I may be the oldest one here at 39.

doubtful hahhaha

I actually liked the original Veilside cars, I got to see their booth at Tokyo Auto Salon, they have really high end products.

However once Erebuni started grafting the look onto every car, like that probe above, or a civic, or ford escort it really killed it.

Definitely true, people used to copy the hell out of the design. The kit on the Probe was a genuine Veilside kit from an FD that was cut and molded. The guy was an Engineer if I remember correctly. It looks like the site is still up. http://members.shaw.ca/bcpoc/ROTMfeb2002.html

at 43 years old, I want to look older and let my beard grow. A month and a half without shaving and I must say it is a difficult journey.

Hell, I suspect 39 is at the younger end of the Miata spectrum if you consider all owners, given that the car was basically a painless British roadster; my first car was a used '78 Spitfire that bought for $1000 in '86.

Oh lawd... the vielside / vader / shogun or whatever that front bumper is, is the ugliest front bumper out there for the miata!

Everytime I see one driving around with it on, I want to save the car by ripping that bumper off and slapping a stock bumper back on it.

I always thought it made the car look like a catfish.
