I'm going to assume yours isn't really rusty with damaged driver's side quarter and fender lol. I would love to have a clean body NB with no rust or damage, similar to my NA.

Mine is hardly flawless (check my trunk, for starters :oops:), but it's been nice to have a car that is relatively well-mannered that I can drive on normal roads without wanting to shoot myself.

I'm always surprised how well those lights of yours look in pictures. I'm half tempted to pick a set up since mine are so ghosted...

Well I did notice the air on the sides of the car to be a tad less turbulent, kinda like the air is moving more smoothly to the rear of the car. I plan to run a rear diffuser and cutting the rear bumper to allow the air to pass properly.... Looks wise, it def unique, I've seen only 1 NB with something like it in all of NYC......

Thanks man, not much to the outside to be honest... I snagged an orange Mazdaspeed wing here and while that's getting painted black I'm going to have the Brainstorm fuel door I scored painted black as well which should be kinda cool/different. The 6UL's are the dedicated track wheels so I keep looking for a cool/light/cheapish set of 15x7 beater/winter wheels, I have the silver Konig Spooled's but I'm having a hell of a time keeping them from hitting the fender liners.

Next mod for the car is a custom built Eckridge diff to get rid of the noisy ass KAAZ diff it has now, shortly there-after it will be going in for a dyno tune with the Greddy E-Manage Ultimate I have sitting here with a gorgeous Boomslang harness. I'm doing the diff first because I recently switched to the BP5A JDM ECU since it has a much better cold tune but it's hanging revs a bit when I lift off the throttle which I have a hunch has to do with the fact that it doesn't use EGR but is getting EGR right now so I need to block that off and maybe keep experimenting.
After that, Sparco Speed 2's, Xidas, lightweight battery, and that's really it since I'll be at the limit of the STR rules for the motor, suspension, and lightening.


Probably a few odds and ends for the interior since the Prototipo I just put in looks so god dam good that everything in there now needs black leather with white stitching :) I really need to get these Warbird gauge faces I have just sitting here installed but I'm leaning towards having him make me a custom white faced tach face since I'm just loving all of the custom ones Adam's been doing like that.

No i don't think it is as loud as the NA version.

Pretty quiet until above 4k rpm when cruising on the highway etc it is very quiet (no drone)

I am running 2.5 all the way through and xforce headers

Nice looking car, it makes me want to buy an NB. I like your style with the exterior, I have a similar taste in style. I had a red NA with hardtop, black lip,black rims, lowered,and half caged. It reminded me of my NA.

Lol. Some of tmmunity. Its behe parts are going to locals so they will still be floating around the coen fun, but its just not a daily driver.
Did it take 2 years to realize it? no I knew it was going to happen eventually. it was just getting myself to do it. No turning back now.

Ive been driving my moms stock Mazda 6i Hatch for the last week because I have 0 motivation to finish the miata (Ordered the last of the stock parts I need today) I had major issues getting the bar out. took me two days (both 8 hours of straight work) and the car pissed me off. Now I cant wait to see it go.

The 6 is very nice though. Super comfortable. and I can load it up with all my crap.
Just needs more power and a correct transmission.

I knew you had driven the car home, but I was fully expecting you to have alignment troubles. I was hoping that would be the worst of it, because those gremlins are hard to fix and normally involve suspension components getting replaced.

Really nice, I thought about a satin finish black on my NB. I'd be safe cause I rarely wash my car,just be careful how you do clean the car,those satin finishes have a tendency to burnish.

It's Satin Black with a matte clear. It's not too bad to clean but water spots are terrible. I always wash it in the shade and have to really dry it off.
