I was cleaning the EGR on my NB, and managed to break one of the nipples off of the vacuum solenoid.

For reference, it is this part:http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/151350904153?lpid=82&chn=ps

So now I'm stranded at the house, and this isn't something that's carried at my local auto chains. Is it OK to drive the car with this broken, at least 10 miles to get to my Acura? Obviously, it'll pull a CEL, but should the car drive safely for that amount of time?

If I had crazy glue, I'd attempt to fix it, whilst ordering a new one.

Don't know how safe it is, but did you need me to bring you some crazy glue? Let me know before it gets late. Text me.

I put it back together with tape. car idles fine, but a CEL popped up. Going to drive it around the block, and see if I trust it to Clayton.

Its for the VICS, it's fine to remove the vac lines and securely plug them up so theres not a leak until you can replace it.

JB weld or epoxy.

Now that I have the other car, I might look in to fixing it, since it's a clean break

Superglue is a strong but brittle bond. Look at some stronger, more appropriate adhesive/fixes that are suitable for the heat and conditions the pieces are in.
