I just trying to get a feeling as to how many people actually like the ND in general. I know most members.in this site are Mazda fans but mostly NA cars. How about the ND? Whould you buy one if the price is fair??

If I could, or if I ever consider buying a new car, I would be in a dilema between the ND and the new GT86. But, you know, probably Greece is going to leave Eurozone, so I can keep dreaming [emoji14]

I'm poor and dislike car payments. Hence I drive a 14 year old car. I'd definitely buy a used ND once some of the initial depreciation wears down. Worked in car sales for many years, I know not to buy new vehicles. Plus the first 2 years of vehicles are usually the ones with the most issues. 1990 snc would be a good example

I will be/should be, barring any unforeseen circumstances. It will probably be within the next 2 years.

I'll own it, just not sure when. I hate to buy a brand new car though, so I'll probably wait a bit. I've also heard from a Mazda corporate employee that we should be getting a club edition with some really cool stuff shortly

My sister will be buying one! She is on this forum, just not nearly as much as I am!

My plan is to buy a used ND PRHT in several years.

Like most folks have said, will get one but wait 2-3 years for a used one, plus there may be more stuff available and more colors to pick from.

I am planning on getting an NC1 GT so the ND has to wait a couple years.................

I will buy one used in a few years. Life plan is to own one Miata from each generation.

Same here if I can get a garage to hold the 4 cars.

I currently have a 2.5 car garage. It comfortably fits the Miata, a VW cabriolet and a chevy Colorado. So it'll easily fit 3 Miatas. One can stay outside lol

I'll probably be looking at used one in the future, probably once my boys get a bit older.

I wouldn't mind trading in my leased Mazda6 for a leased ND but I don't really want to own the first year. If I can get into an ND, I'll enjoy it for three years and then bump up to the more refined one I just don't want to get trapped into a car that is going to improve in the next year or so and of course, not be able to mod because of the warranty. If I can trade up to a C7 Z06 though...sorry ND.

Hate buying new cars. My next car will probably be a 4Runner for excursions and as a DD. I need something to tow the Miata, carry my boys (dogs), and my outdoor sporting equipment (bikes, kayaks, camping gear).

A 4Runner would be great since your dawgs don't weigh anything but are 4 feet tall.

We will have one at the shop, does that count?

I am in the too poor to afford anything but an 1991 Miata crowd. Maybe in 25 years...

I'm with you there. If I were to buy a Miata to own and play with, I'd buy a cheap NA, remove everything and paint what's left in rattle-can yellow. Now that's a car worth owning and having guilt-free fun with!

You should strip it and get it powdercoated shiny yellow.

Would I like to have an ND? Heck yeah. Given my current car situation and upcoming changes, though, I don't see one in my life unless another car gets totaled or stolen.

I am with Agent Orange since I own a 1990NA. The only problem I have it has already cost me over an investment of $23,000 and it still is a money pit that never ends. However, it is lots of fund.:fp:

what dealer are you buying from? Wesley Chapel Mazda? Did they say when they are due in? I hear that Classic Mazda in Orlando is getting some in 2 weeks, 10 are already pre-sold at that dealer sight unseen.

One of our local guys posted about an event at Cox Mazda in Bradenton if that's any sooner or closer to the Tampa crowd:

Cox Mazda is having a viewing of the 2016 Miata at their location in Bradenton,July 25,2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00pm. They would like to invite all the clubs in our area to attend. I understand it will be quite a show. They have a fog/smoke machine, the car will be covered and when the smoke clears, well you know the rest. They will have free food and drinks for all

If we'd just legalize pot, there wouldn't be any need for a smoke machine and they'd easily sell out of all their inventory in less than an hour just like Taco Bell down the street.

We are going have 2 coming in the following weeks to our dealer. It is my understanding initial colors will be Red.

I talked to Palm Mazda here and they're only getting a couple reds as well. Brochures and promotional media should be arriving any time now.

I should be here if I can get the day off. But regardless my Miata will be there, and it might be on display in the showroom with the ND..... :)

I just talked to the sales mgr at the local Mazda dealership and the only Miatas he is getting now are the Pre-order limited Launch editions and they are already spoken for. But he has some regular stock IE: Sport and Club models in all 5 colors coming in mid to late August.

I like the ND miata but I wouldn't buy one for a few reasons. First I don't like buying new cars. Second the price is not right, I think 30k is a lot for something that only produces 155hp that demands premium gas or maybe I'm just cheap. I can turn around and get a Mustang GT v8 and be done with it. Mustangs are heavier of course but regardless it's a fun car and has come a long way in power and handling on top of the extra room. Last reason, I already have a 96 Miata. It's lightweight and the upgraded suspension, brakes, and chassis bracing has made the roadster even more appealing. In other words, I'm already happy with my Miata I just need a paint job and an engine rebuild. Maybe I'm just saying this because I've had many two-seater cars who knows. I already have 3 cars to tend to but I wouldn't mind another bike though.

Honestly I'd rather have a cyote mustang.. But I still love my NA and not going to give it up, so no mustang or ND for me.

I already have a Miata. As much as the ND is super pretty, I'd rather get something with more space as a second vehicle.
