195-50-15, I like the rounded slightly stretched wall also this size is the closest to OEM diameter size.

205-50 Star Specs on one set. 225-45 RS3s on the other.

More rubber the better imo:

225/45/15 Hankook Ventus RS3'S, on my second set and i love them! Drive on them year around but obviously caution should be exercised in freezing temps.

I think 205/50/15 is a more common choice though.

Are you running 225-45 in the front ??

225-45-15 and 205-50-15 are the most common choices. A little extra meat with the 225's but availability can be spotty in this size at times. The 205's will be square with the wheel and give you a wide selection of tires to choose from as they are always in stock.

Yes sir! At my ride height(12.25"F/12.5"R) and current spring rate(375lbs/325lbs) the tires will rub occasionally on the fender liners on hard bumps or sharp turns but nothing dramatic and fenders are rolled. Last set got about 15k-16k (about two years for me ) miles before they were heat cycled out but still tread left.

225/45/15 Hankooks like Greasemonkey2000. Front n back. Solid tire good tread design for the random Florida rain. They're availability is hit n miss sometimes but how many miles do you really plan to drive on your car per year?

MightyM are those the new bronze 6ul 15x9? It matches the tan seats well. Any better angle?

Yeah they're the newest generation 15x8 bronze finish but look gold. I get a lot of compliments on how well they look against the tan interior.

I just picked up Nitto Neo Gens in 205/50/15. I haven't had a chance to have them installed yet but I think they will protect the wheel better (curbing, etc...) than the 195/50 I have on there now. I just found out Discount Tire won't mount them on a 15x8 wheel so I have to find another place. I may take it to the local tire place in Durham. They have done work for me before.

similar story myself now. my 195/50's are done so now I need to look into something new and I figure "why not jump up a few sizes?" turns out finding 225/45's are near impossible in the UK however 205/50's are quite easy to get.

I'm thinking Federal rs-r's as I've been recommended them by a few people but I'm open to others.

For a similar tire(grip, tread rating, etc) i don't think you will find a more competitively priced tire than the Federal RS-R's. I was just shopping for 225s and almost went with the RS-R's as they are around 40% cheaper than the 225 R1R's but i decided against because i have read the RS-R's don't have very good tread wear (wear out quickly) compared to similar tread wear rated tires.

Any pics? I am still not sure either as to what tyre size I should use for a meaty fitment.
