Any suggestions on how to replenish the NA6 dashboard?

I am looking at this LE dash that I am going to install but these imperfections are staring at me in all directions so it will be impossible to just ignore these. What are the possible suggestions other than covering it with leather? Is there a rubber-like material that I can spray or paint over? It looks like factory applied a flexible sort of plastic-dip? Thanks in advance.

I have done quite a few….stripped the black goo and refinished it.
My wife even did her own.
There is How-to on the pointy board.
I used a water based aviation interior paint on the ones I've done.
I even removed the texture from one, to match the gauge cover and it looks awesome.

Nasty but you can do it.

what stripper did you use?

I wanted to do this as well but dont want to use anything solvent based as it might dry out the plastic and make it brittle and crack

^^^That's my concern too. Can you show us the finish work please?

My neighbor suggested light coat it with a black rubber undercarriage paint.

I am really wanting to keep the finish as close to OEM. The easy way out is to cover it but then it will lead me to do covering other parts to match it.

I used cheap carb cleaner and hit it fast…no issues with cracking.
I do remove the screws on the back of the dash that cause the cracks.
I also repaired cracks on the dash I removed the texture.

These can't be told from OEM except they're not sticky.
Ill try to get some current pics but they're in the shop and filthy.
My 93LE was done 10 years ago and still looks the same.

Do not use that undercoating!
