The coating agent is a super easy coating agent, for when you have finished washing your car!
After you have Wash your car with the shampoo, use water to rinse off the shampoo, then get a bucket with water and then you add a bit of the coating agent to the water and use a microfiber cloth to wipe the car. It is very simple to do and it complements with the hydrophilic coating, there is no problem at all, even if you apply it to the lacing braid of the clear glass and the latex windshield.
The coating agent is water repellent and will protect the windshield from drops of rain water on a rainy day. So I do recommend that you use the coating agent on your windshield. You will see the effect on the number of times you wash your car, when you use the coating three to five times your car color will be much brighter.
For the Roadster it will depend on the amount of the coating agent you apply to your car, for big panels you will have to apply five or ten times to get a great result.
