Great sounding speakers and a nice upgrade over OEM setup. The magnet size on theses Kicker's are considerably bigger than OEM. Thus, it's more powerful and clearer when the volume is turned up. Fitment is spot on and all you have to do is drill one hole. You can drill one hole on the door or speaker. I chose to drill the sides of the speaker to use the 3 preexisting holes and it was quick easy. This is more than enough sound for an average commuter or Miata owner. BTW, I'm driving these speakers from the weak head unit and not the AMP. Using the AMP will obviously maximize the speakers potential.
