Anyone seen a PCD changed on a wheel like this before.

Too much room for error, in my mind

Yeah for sale here in the UK. Some nice sizes but not seen wheels have the PCD pattern altered like that before.

I personally don't like it, but understand many have done it without ill effects. Technically if they are hubcentric they should be fine, but unless they were a wheel I just had to have, and they were rare I'd pass.

I'd think the correct way to do that would be to weld the hole closed and redrill.

That is sketchy as hell.

Seen it.
The "correct" way to do it is a fill and drill. You fill the hole and then drill a new one. But even that is a bit sketchy.

Thanks all. Saw them for sale and liked the sizes of the wheels but seeing this photo was not what I had seen done before. Based on the feedback I give them a miss and won't make an offer.
