Can be found all over ebay, no specific brand.

Yep, knockoff of HKS or Apexi, I can't remember. But they're everywhere, as stated. At least I assume the real thing would have had a badge and jasma tag tacked onto it.

so do I get it right that this is a knock off of a brand but made in japan?

It looks like the ones from eBay but I have seen one in person and this looks more JDM. The welds are clean so I doubt it is from eBay. Just my 2 cents.

That's Tsudo from ebay. I've seen it in person and it's not bad for being an ebay special. It would be perfect for a turbo setup since it's kind of loud, at least for me. I've seen it for $180 shipped back in the days. I'm pretty sure it's branded with different names on ebay, but regardless it's definitely a deal.
