Hi MR,

So it has come to the point in my ownership of a 5 that I want to be a yob and a goon.....so I did the unthinkable (to some) and bought a bee*r limiter. I was wondering if anyone knew how to wire it so that I can get it to working in my 5.

I'm just gonna field some responses by saying car ownership is individualistic and as such, I want to do something cool and different for me. I like the idea of pops and bangs as it's unexpected and I also like the idea of launch control, although not needed, will be fun and a new experience for me. I know some people don't like these and I appreciate but each to their own. I hope someone can help me :)

As always, a pleasure and thanks in advance!!

Even though we speak the same language, I honestly don't understand much of what you just said. Would you be willing to ask again in Colonial parlance?

Sure. My apologies. I have bought a Bee*r limiter, and I would like help wiring it. I know people don't like them and I tried to divert any ill-will from potential responses by stating that I want one for me. I have seen on several forums that these invoke the response that tends to be negative, and I don't think that type of response is constructive or useful for anyone else who may need help.

I hope this helps

I don't know why people don't like it. When I learned about the bee*r limiter I wanted to find one. Not that I needed one, just because it sounds like a cool idea.

No idea how to connect it, obviously... :(

This is what I found for a 93 NA:

Bee*R - Miata
Green - Yellow/Blue (2G)
Yellow - White (2E)
Red - Red/White (1B)
Black - Black (2A)

http://www.bee-r.com/main/rev/revlimitter.pdf (Use M-14 to find splicing locations.)

On the Bee*R diagram, it only shows 3 of 4 wiring locations. For the 3 it shows, it goes Green, Yellow, and Red. (from left to right on diagram M-14.) The one wire that is not shown, is the ground wire. Either of the 2 black wires off the ECU will work for ground.

Not sure how well this helps.

I found something similar to this, I was wondering whether the models changed between U.K./ Europe and Japan. Is there a way I can make sure these are the wires with like a multimeter or something. I was also reading that the ecu has 2 spark signals and not one

Is it just for shooting flames out of the tailpipe? I think that's kinda cool.

If I'm completely honest......fire, pops and bangs are my main reason but i also want to try the launch control side of it!
