Hi Everyone,
I came across this little gem while researching an LS based BRZ...

http://www.mrs-electronic.de/english/automotive-electronics/gateways/index.html

The guys at Vorshlag are using it for their LS Subaru BRZ swap. Scroll down to the end of this page to see where they talk about it...

I'm currently waiting for V8R's full RX-8 kit and having full CAN bus integration would be awesome. Working stock gauges, ABS, etc. I've send the above info to V8R. I hope it helps in their development.

Thanks,
Ben

If you have some basic programming skills it is fairly easy to do so by using an Arduino and a CAN shield. It is sufficiently fast to translate CAN messages even for control purposes on a vehicle.

Yeah, that's what the Vorshlag guys were talking about. A ton of people say that it's super easy until you actually need to do it and make it reliable. ;)

Another option would be the guys at Wiring Solutions. They developed a canbus integration module for us to use in our BMW E46 LSx swaps. Looks pretty slick. Better than the one from EZ Canbus.

On Edit: I'm the lead engineer at Vorshlag.

Thanks for the extra options Jason! Very good to know! I'm glad to see different developers helping each other out.

I just got a reply from V8R and they said that they are shooting to have CAN bus integration done by late Summer. Woohoo!
