Looking to plan a MazdaRoadster Tour to Karuizawa Roadster Meeting in Japan

Giving you guys 3 years to save your money, and get time off work, this is the best year to go because 2020 marks the 100 year anniversary for Mazda. I am working with one of the guys from Dsport that does the Tokyo Auto Salon tour every year. This way we can get an japanese / english speaking guide, or guides, as well as making it a tour that includes hotel and transportation.

Looking for 20 members on here that can make it.

If you are serious then put your name on the list so I can get started and make this happen

We need to find an area in Japan that has the highest concentration of Roadster tuners so that we can visit as many as possible before or after the Karuizawa Roadster Meeting. Would also like to hit up a Super AutoBacs.

If anyone else has been there in the past free to chime in so we can get as much bang for our buck.

Three years. I think I can plan for that. Tampa 'Palooza was a BLAST! What would one be in the homeland??? <mind-blown> Hey Adam, get your tent back from Randy. I'll have better connectors and know how to set that one up next time. ;-)

3-yrs gives us plenty of time to get your finances together.

Adam, this is Steve, who purchased the gauges after dinner at Miatapalooza.

i think staying in tokyo area would be the best, and its not a long train ride to the meet. tokyo has garage vary, car make corns, jetstream, tons of others. count me as a maybe, i cant plan that far in advance! but i do an annual trip to japan around spring time already, so im gonna say yes

Count me in, too! I'm in Tokyo now (heading back tomorrow...) Was "only" able to visit Car Make Corn's (which is such a great shop, Tomio-san and Shinya-san are great). But I definitely would like to visit other shops as well!!

I travel to China often on business. I usually stay for 2 weeks at a time.
Maybe I can schedule a business trip at that time and just fly from Hong Kong to Japan.
A big plus would be that I could adjust to the time zone before going.

I'm (probably) in!

It was something I was talking about with Harry, and this seems to be a nice opportunity.

You guys will probably have to meet us over in Japan because I doubt you want to fly into LAX in Cali just to sit on another plane for 11 hours to Japan. Once i get this set up ill get the tour company to see about folks that want to meet up with us over there, or have extended stays etc.

Ba ha ha ha. Thats the plan Randy. Here is how it works, Im telling here I want a new car, pester her for most of the day and then say, ok. How about a trip to Japan 3 yrs from now and Im paying for it myself? The trip will pale in comparison to asking for a new something right now. Reverse psychology. Learned about it before but mastered during marriage.

At least 8 months prior. I'm giving folks lots of time to save money because Japan is NOT cheap, especially when you'll have all the Roadster tuners at your fingertips
