It was spotted 605 South heading to the 60 West heading towards LA with the flat black Civic following, with two hispanic males

*the BIG TIP OFF would be the WHEELS, its not like they're hard to get(possible if ordered new) but at the same time its one of the only sets around in such a size since nobody orders it to begin with*

the search is over.... car was found in pomona off of mission by the police.... 1am friday morning....sitting on frame with no wheels.
they've done this plenty of times, seems like honda would definitely be more their thing just by looking at what they took/left/how they did it....they cut down the front towers and the cut just stopped in the middle of the body with no particular reason., i'm sure they're thinking the motor mounts are attached to the body like a honda... but the motor is fully mounted on the subframe on a 86.

but after further inspection it seems they dont normally target 86s...cause they really dont know whats worth what.
1. they left the jdm bumper bracket for the front
2. they left the whole rear jdm bumper+brackets
3. the rear end with the cusco lsd was still there, and like half a coilover.
4. they took stupid shit like the side markers which are not worth anything
5. power window switches which wont work at all unless you have the whole harness which they cut

It's definitely a sad day... what is even more shitty is that yesterday (17th) was my buddy's birthday...

I hope they're retarded enough to run those wheels on the shitty bucket they drive and get caught with them... NOBODY has a set of those in SSRs in 16in MS1r in that size

That's just terrible. Stupid thieves killed a perfectly good chassis. Glad to hear some of the more expensive parts made it through, though.

its not trashed (well it is, but its salvageable) , you can reweld the front as long as the strut tower is not damaged. one of the local track miatas trashed the front and they just cut it off infront of the shock tower and rewelded a new front end. he is still fastest TTE car, 6 out of 7 championships.

Start rebuilding. Move away from cali. enjoy your jdm goodness.
