I'd never heard of this until now, so, thanks for that! This might actually be a viable proposition for getting air to my V8 without losing the factory hood catch.

No longer in production, I take it?

I believe this was a composite recreation of the original design of Alec Moody, which is pretty popular. You can check with a local 3D printing shop on how much they would charge to print one for you. Specify that you need a heat-resistant material.

WOW Harry!!! I'm an OG, so work with me here. Do you mean all I have to do is down load this on a thumb drive and take it to someone that does 3D printing?

Essentially yes (or e-mail them the link or files). Tell them that it will be used in a car induction system and it needs to withstand heat; any competent place will know what parameters and materials to use. If they ask for input regarding the materials, I would suggest PC, Nylon or ABS.

If we were not an ocean apart (literally), I could print it for you, but shipping overseas makes no sense for 3D printed parts (which is the beauty of it too, the fact you can do it locally). Let me know if anything in the files does not work, I have copies in my PC.

Thank You So Very Much Harry!!! I have a lot going on right now as my wife's car (in the last couple of days) may have to get a new head, I not totally sure yet, but it sure doesn't look good. So it may be pushed to the back burner (story of my life with my Miata). I got heavy hail damage back in 2014 and still don't have that fixed either. I bought the body parts off of the original owner of Mike's Miata, only to have him sell them from under me. I lost $800 in that deal. At any rate I am Very Grateful for your Kindness. I will be trying it (in time) and if I have problems I'll check back with you for sure as this is the Only intake I want for my car. GOD BLESS,
