Nakamae Type R Seats - FS Interest

Hey all - it's been a while!

Long story short, looking for people's thoughts on the value of a pair of Nakamae Type-R seats in black synthetic leather? The seats are in brilliant condition and show no wear. I bought them new from Rev9Autosport roughly 4 years ago and have taken good care of them.

My NA Miata has been having some extensive work over the last couple of years and I haven't been very active on here about it's progress.

I'll consider selling them if their value has stayed strong? I see their out of stock on Rev9 but I'm unsure why. I live in the UK but would be willing to ship if I sold...

Has anyone see these sell recently and what they went for?

I can post pictures if needed but there's literally no wear on them, they're as good as the day I bought them.

I have no idea of the actual value of these, but I can assure you that all rare JDM parts have definitely increased in observed market prices over the last 2 years.

I was also wondering what my Nakamae Type - S black synthetic leather and red thread are worth these days. They are in pretty much brand new condition aside from a small little scuff, but i'm sure it can be easily fixed. Knowing that it is really hard / near impossible to get Nakamae to make you a new set and they rarely come up for sale, its really hard to price them.

I am curious to what you might me asking, I have a friend with a nice 510 sedan that has been interested in possibly mounting a set of these in his car.

Nakamae-san is still making seats and other goods but I understand the wait list is long (I have a set of Type S's and some other bits being made for the Coupe right now). I've been surprised when I've seen sets come up (rarely) on YJA that they haven't benefited from the Mazdaspeed or RS seat inflation. In fact I don't think I've seen a set go for brand new price. Amazing how many people aren't aware of his work but I think posting in the right forum with some beauty shots would certainly spark some real interest. Even though the price increased in the last four years the weak Yen has kept them about the same as far as I can tell (e.g. my new set were about the same as the black ones I got seven-ish years ago).

The seats are black synthetic leather and are in fantastic condition.

I’m not in a rush to sell them and would like to get what they’re worth, I’m happy to negotiate though and have no intention of selling for more than they’re worth either.
