Hey guys, didn't see any topic like this and since I'm looking I thought I'd post this as I'm sure others have some good suggestions!

I want to make my own (with the help of a exhaust shop) exhaust, the problem is finding a good and pretty muffler/silencer. I've looked around on some large names, and nothing has me totally sold yet, therefor I recruit your help!

My in my head center exit exhaust will be offset slightly to the drivers side, and with a cut bumper, so pretty is a must! And in my instance no humongous exits, feel free to post up whatever though, someone else might find it useful.

My car is na, so around 2" ish in, and no bigger then 3" exit. Fits (If anyone has the amount of space available on top of their head, or thereabout please do post.)

In short a muffler that is:

-Pretty
-2" ish in (can be larger)
-2"-4" ish out
-Not super loud
-Cylindrical, but oval can work.

You looking for really loud? Magnaflow race or borla race or if you can find one, SLP LM2.

Totally forgot, I want silent ish. No more then racing beat or thereabouts. I've thought about just using my RB muffler, but I'd rather find something else and just sell it on.

I like the sound in my current setup:
RB 4-1
RB connecting pipe without silencer
RB power pulse
Stock cat/Silenced decat

Either could work, but I've been mostly been looking at cylindrical, because pretty, but unsure if they can silence enough so I left that open.

With this as a resonator

Magnaflow do have some nice alternatives, thank you.

I really like how most resonators are designed like this:

Better then the straight edges that many mufflers have.

Instead of a 90 degree turn like most mufflers, the slope looks better. I mean the part where it goes from silencer to piping.

Wouldn't want the twin exit, so any other oval muffler would do the same job, unless of course I could find the cooper muffler cheap locally (though I doubt it)

Mike, if I say pretty pretty please enough will you make me your seats? :P (and headlights)

LOL I actually have another pair of retro seats in my garage waiting to be upholstered. Albeit similar, this one is extensively modified to fit the narrow interior. If and when I finally finish it I will sell the one I have now...shipping to the land of vikings would be a killer tho.

Can always do the slow boat, if all else is to much.

First dibs to my locals... Whenever I get to making my own exhaust (which may be a long time)

I've been flipping through the road&ster and hyper rev for inspiration.
