Since we've had this weird heat wave in MI this has become an issue for me.
I've owned my NA since late fall.
It's a 94 with 110k on the clock.
Don't know the service history of the car.
When the engine is cold it starts up and idles fine.
However, when the engine is warm (after a long drive) and I kill the engine and start it up again a short time later (going into a store ETC) it idles really rough and sometimes stalls. I usually have to give it some gas to keep it running and while I do so it sounds like it's misfiring. Once I put it into gear and take off however the problem goes away. It did not happen much over the winter but now that it's warm out it is happening more frequently and with more severity.
Before I spend hours researching on all the Miata forums I figured I would check with you guys to see if someone could point me in the right direction.
