for reals ! no one even warned us before going out. i think william from 949racing's group was taking one of the NA's out and got totally drenched in water due to no windows. they have it all on film too, he came back to the pits with the entire left side of his body drenched in water. haha.

Here's a quick observation on the difference of broomstick test clearance between Scott's car with the street cage and a custom lower seat mount to Dan's car with a normal roll bar and what I suspect is a more typical seat installation.
Same angle and distance of the shot approximately, Scott is probably 2-3" taller than Dan too.

I was with you guys for a bit when there was 6 of us, but at 80mph I at 4k rpm, too much for me, so I backed down to 70mph.

And then I caught everyone after Woolery got pulled over, they were doing 60mph in the slow lane :lol:

I was all over the track on both days. We have seen each other for sure, but don't know if we talked....I was in a bright green rain jacket with a Sony DSLR. I've talked to one photographer who was getting around on a small scooter and saw another photographer walking around the track with a second guy holding the umbrella above the photog :)

Either way, i didn't know about this site until today when i saw the traffic from this forum hitting my gallery. Had I known, i would have posted my gallery here earlier and perhaps asked if anyone wanted to have pictures taken during the event.

Oh well, there is always the next year....

Red Miata behind yellow and in front of you got not turbo/super charger, so we couldn't pass him while he was gunning.... but then he would slow down in the turns way too much. Maybe he didn't have rain tires on?
