Ok Gang who has went on a multiday camping trip with just the car as storage??

So far i figure if I remove the passenger seat you could actually get quite a bit of stuff in there.

heres the list i know will fit
pass seat:
4 man tent
10x10 pop-up
cooler

trunk:
small propane grill
cooking kit
lighting
couple changes of clothes.

what else do you think you can shoehorn in there????

I know Thumper got excited when he read "four man tent.". That's like an invitation instead of a description.

There you go again. You can't help yourself can you ? The mere mention of camping and you go blabbing away. Ever since we went camping and that gang of gay bikers played hide the______with you,you just can't control yourself.

I took my daughter camping for four days in West Virginia. Note: We carried bb guns and fireworks to defend ourselves from inflatable gay bikers.

I like the rack storage idea on the back there . How much weight do you think you had in it ???

It was the tent, sleeping bags, camp pillows, etc. Just the light stuff. Oh, and fireworks from TN, since it was a 4th of July trip. Probably not more than 20 lbs including the box. I searched quite awhile to find a box that fit well.

Thanks for the reply . I'm working on this portable camp site in the car idea to go see more races to lower the impact on the monthly budget.

I haven't been camping in forever! For fear that I'll run in to that biker gang...

Last I went camping me and my friends walk around in boxers with knifes taped to spears and killed fish and snakes and ate them. Also made dead fall traps with small sharp wooden sticks in the bottom hoping to kill a squirrell or raccoon. The idea work and an animal fell in both times but survived and ran away.

Not to worry,as long as Yata isn't there you are safe.

I was messing around the other day and if I remove the bracket for the spare tire hold down my 60qt cooler fits in the hole no problem.
