I think unk577 is going, he is getting the tags for his chumpcar last time i spoke with him. Not sure if V8-Roadsters will have their chumpcar ready by then.

this is going to give me some much needed experience with my new camera before the Rolex next year. Should be fun to watch

I hear they plan to Red flag the race every hour and have spectators come down onto the track and pick up all the parts that fall off the race cars

OK,let it run. The spectators can play like the running of the bulls while they dodge cars to pick up the parts. The spectator who collects the most parts win's a prize of $500.00 in pennies

Are we allowed to have a BBQ or do we have to suffer through the crap they serve at the track ?

as long as we can control it we can as far as i can tell. I dont have a portable grill at this time. What you got in mind buddy . I do agree that the track food has been below par lately .

We're not making Daytona. Had hoped to, but just too many details need attention to make it worth while. Might run out to watch

We'll just have to do something about that ! I'll pick up a small charcoal grill. We have to eat something and track food ain't cutting it. Maybe dogs, burgers, ribs, some corn or asparagus. I'm sure we can "cook up" something good . We'll need to cook lunch and dinner .

I have all the charcoal we could possibly need. I'll call you this weekend and we can work up a menu

Are there any additional cost to get in beside the $10.00 for infield tickets?

Provided we don't get a tropical down pour I am ready. Steady rain will make the race a crazy thing to watch. Downpours will send me home early or no go at all. Next year I hope to have a car and team for the 2013 schedule,at least at all 3 Florida events.

exactly i dont mind light drizzle rain storms but big downpours suck. Being a tropical storm it might be just little rain storms
