Some of us have a difficult time with our knees resting on the emergency brake handle. It can just plain hurt after a while. Luckily, there's a fix that costs less than a dollar and takes about a half hour to do.
Tool: Ratchet with 6" extension and 12mm socket for brake handle and 14mm socket for seat bolts
Materials:
M-8 x 1.25 bolt, 25mm in length
7 washers

Remove the driver seat exposing the E-brake handle. There are three bolts holding it in place. Make sure the brake handle is all the way down and remove the upper right bolt replacing it with your new long one. Place four washers in the path and thread the new bolt in a few threads.

Then, remove the lower left bolt and place another washer in there and tighten all bolts.

When you're done, your brake handle will now be relocated slightly to the right and more importantly, not touching your knee anymore.

Notes: You can add or subtract washers to fine tune brake handle placement but in my experience, the number of washers I used was sufficient.
