My Angry Miata!!

Soooo i kinda waited a long time to make a build thread since i got the car almost 7 months ago... but here we go anyway!

I bought my 93 with 170k miles, destroyed top, broken shifter, no radio, rough idle, blown headlights, and broken lens on the tailights, and stock EVERYTHING! for $900
This is what it looked like...

First thing i did was strip the entire interior and clean/ get new parts... new top!! new speedo cable, new headlights, tail lights, and short shifter (old bushing were destroyed) all new oem rubber boots, and ebay sleeves, and new cluster. then i painted trim pieces (headlight shrouds, triangle window trim, and misc.)

-Next i did power window conversion because my cranks were bad.
-Got a rear finish panel and painted it white
-Painted the area below the door to make the car all white so the car "flows"
-custom made bracket adapters for the RSX leathers i dropped in

There are tons of little things i forgot to mention... like making my gauge faces red, installing sturt tower bar, exhaust, intake, minor wire tuck. I HAVE POLICE LIGHTS/SIRENS!!! (dont ask me how)

-everything is pink in the center picture but the camera made it look like it was orange

i cant take more pics if you want, but honestly if i could go back, i would of just bought seats before making these fit... it was a huge PITA!!! i had to cut off the original seat brackets then weld in plates to drill holes to mount the miata brackets to, then about a month later had to cut more off the original bracket because my line of vision was wierd due to the seat itself sitting higher, and the seats are very wide and you actually have to make notches in the side of the seat for the seat belt straps/belt catches to fit on the sides of the tunnel and by the door panels :( i went 3 days with no seats in my daily because little crap kept popping up with the seats!

lol ill be turboing the 2.4 when i put that in... since the 2.4 will be free i dont need to sell it.

with the turbo, the 2.4 will be putting about 285 at the crank... and the ecotec LE5 2.4L will be coming from a pontiac solstice (same motor as cobalt SS)

yep, i changle my color every few months, they were grey with polished lip, then i went pink center with polished lip, then all white, now all green!!

you can spray them... or if you want to keep them chrome just paint everything, then afterward get some laquer thinner on a rag and wipe each little rivet and the paint will come right off
