Sharka's vent rings - satin black?

I just ordered another batch of vent rings. I got a set of satin black coming as well as a set of black wrinkle finish. Looking forward to getting them in front of my camera.

Gloss vs Satin. The satin has a nice metal flake to it. Really nice when the light hits it.

Wrinkle finish. It's stunning in person. I'm amazed at how good it looks. Very similar to the OEM plastic that it's covering, but suddenly that plastic became metal. It's really really cool.

Damn you (shakes fist)! Or should I place the blame on emilio84? Wherever it falls, I just sent in my order for a set of satin black. I love the gloss black ones I got previously but these will suit my tastes better (I very much like an understated look). Thank you for continuing to provide more choices, even if it does cost me more money!

The LAST set of Art Deco Vent Rings in the world is in my hands right now. My manufacturer discontinued them. I won't ever be able to offer them again and will be taking them off my site. This makes me rather sad. They're so pretty and catch the light so nicely.

The Deco vent rings have a rounded profile. They're apparently more difficult to machine and don't sell that well for my supplier. So they're now gone. And they're now something I'd consider rare. I've sold less than a dozen over the years. And I've sold hundreds of the other design.

Having a hard time deciding between gloss black and satin black.

Does anyone have more real world installed pictures of either product in their car?

I started with a set of the gloss ones, then bought the satin ones when he released them. I prefer this look, it blends in well with the dash while still giving a difference from stock.
