Only problem is since chance told me he has one for free, I spend my $ on car parts, and the $ I got now I am spending it all on car parts.

I literally have been tryin gto get my computer fixed for the last month had $100 saved and was trying to get melissa to find me a harddrive worth buying, found a good deal and she said wait till black friday/cyber monday..she couldnt find anything so yeah chance said well I got one for free so I sold that, and now I dont wanna buy a harddrive cuz chance has one for free ha.

I'm not a member but there is a club called West Penn Miata Club.

I live in the Norfolk area, but every month I take a trip to Waynesburg Pa for drill. Eventually I will be moving back to Pa, but until then I figured getting to know people here would be the closet thing.

I know the tidewater area is pretty populated for miatas, hows the Pittsburgh area?

If your retired, own a stock miata, never tracked it in your life but talk about all the driving schools and events you have went too (while wearing shirts you bought from the events you went too) then id suggest joining that club:P

I would join it but in all honesty they never accepted me when I joined the forum (they prob did now but it took to long so I gave up), I saw them going for a cruise through my town one day (they went to antique store and some other places like that.....lol) and it just wasnt impressive what I saw, I respect stock cars but I am not going to hangout with older people just to see a few stock cars.

Other than that the pittsburgh miata scene is pretty crappy, we have 5-6 in the area that are on the forums and I know of probably 10-20 miata owners in the area that go to meets/events. I do however see a modded iata that I dont know here and then (like once every few months).

Thanks guys

I'm coming up that way on the 4th and 5th of Feb, but not sure I will bring the silver one up with the weather. Chances are it will be in the MSM or the civic. :(

So what is the deal with Beaverun in regards to drifting? I don't plan to do any drifting but I wouldn't mind watching still...

As far as moving back north, my plan now is to leave super early Sunday morning and drive straight through. Looks like I'll have about 60 days to get my car ready to pass inspection/emissions... stupid PA laws

ChrisJuliano

Beaverun was bought out and the new track is midvale speedway or something like that its 2ish hours awy from me.

Dang, that blows. I remember there being talk about it getting bought out but it really sucks that it happened. When you say 2 hours from you, which direction are you talking?

ChrisJuliano

Ah ok, that still kinda sucks haha. It might be fun to make a weekend trip if there's other stuff to check out in the area. Speaking of which, I actually drove back yesterday and got in last night.

West Virginia and Virginia were a freakin nightmare with all the fog, wet roads, and my worn tires. I also realized I really need to at least get NB2 lights. My stock lights are not cutting it.

ChrisJuliano

Theres nothing out there I will just be hitting up events and driving back:D

And NEXT WEEK IS THE PITTSBURGH AUTO SHOW, I will be going and all of you are welcome!

I am glad I just upgraded to good lighting I love it!

morr
02-05-2012, 11:43 AM
Well, poop haha. Is the Auto Show just new cars or what? I'd probably be down.

ChrisJuliano
02-05-2012, 12:30 PM
Yeah its $15 to get in probably BUT ford gives you a $50 gift card every single year that works as a visa, basically what you do is you talk to them give them info and then they send you a email, you "print it out and go to your local ford place and test drive a car and ask for a dealer # and they give it to you and you fill out a thing online and they send you $50" but what I do every single year is sign up and call dealer ask for the # they give it to you, and its a free $50. I use my brothers name aswell so thats $100 for free haha.
