Wednesday July 4th Meeting?

A lot of folks (including myself) have plans for July 4th, so I dont think there will be a meeting. Unless someone else wants to get something started on an alternate day or such, maybe Tuesday, or Thursday?

Sorry guys, I was busy burning down trees this week, had Wednesday off and used the whole day from 8:30am til 7:30pm burning tree branches, and trunks, and stumps.


Here is the massive about of tree branches I had to clear.

I actually dug a "pit" in case I have to put the fire out fast I can just flood the pit with water. But I have a ton of logs left, if you are really that board you can come over and help me burn this stuff. But I would say lets wait until it gets a bit "cooler" outside then you can really enjoy the warmth of the fire and all that jazz.

If that's the one you had your last meet at, the parking there was awful. Reconsider that beach park in St. Pete with the real nice Pavillions. That meet rocked and had the best photo ops! A couple of tolls and entrance fees is not going to deter me or the Gearheads.

We don't have our meets in St.Pete, those meets are on Mondays. The place we meet is at the 5 guys on 301 next to the fair grounds. They have good parking and its easy to get into. We might shift later depending on the size. Nothing wrong with a little drive, right?

Was refering to you anniversary meet posibbly meeting at the park by the football field. Know all about your Five Guys meet and was planning on attending this Wednesday.

I still have plans for a 10 year anniversary party, was even considering a 10th annv sticker and tee-shirt (provided i can get guys to chip in on that) as far as the 10 year meet, i think having it central like the Al Lopez park would be ideal, but i wanted to wait until 1. the weather is cooler, and 2. the kids are back in school, that park is crowded during the summer months.

Have not seen a thread for this Wednesdays meet (7/11) and want to know if you will be there. If not we will most likely drive up for one of your meets 2 weeks from now since we meet bi-weekly and 2 meets in one week is a little too much.
