Yep that was me. Extremely pleased with it. Works every time. Worth every penny that makes up 30 bucks.

i have the same set as well. been using them for about a year and a half now. work great! but for whatever reason i have a hard time remembering to switch them off after a shoot and always have to carry extra batteries.

ditto, I have a set and they're great. A little annoying where the on/off switch is, you can't reach it with some flashes attached which can lead to battery wasting unless you have the nicer quick disconnect feet on some flashes. Now that I think about it, I worked with a girl who used a set during weddings and I remember her flashes have tumbled from them on at least 4 separate occasions. Maybe she forgot to lock them down or her speed lights were a little loose for the way the shoes were built, I dunno.

Oh, the one bad thing I can think of like you said is they are spring clamped so they slide off if you move them around too much. They don't have locking mechanisms on them.
