93LE red compared to the Lotus red?

i am seriously considering trying the lotus seat agian, and i am really interested in the red lotus elise seats, but i want to know how close in color they are to a LE interior. i really dont want to reupholster them to match, but if i have to, i would rather get a worn set to upholster instead of a great condition red set.

i know he has a red set of lotus seats, but what i am looking for is a side by side cmparision to see how off they are. if they are close enough, then i wont have to reupholster nd i can just find some red ones. if they are too off, i will just fint the cheapest ones i can find and reupholster those. =)

These red Elise seats are in the Pitcrew Roadster, color looks to be close the the 93LE.

The colors are close, so if you are getting a good deal on them I would go ahead and get them, if you don't like them bring them to GA. and I will buy them off you!

They are close but not exact. I had some lotus seats but it was not a close enough match for me. But really loved the seats by themselves.

Keep in mind I'm super picky with my parts, the other reason I sold them was becuase at the time there was no moving slide rails for the seats and I wanted to keep some of the adjustability of the stock rails. Lemme see if I can find that picture now...........

Please do! I have already found a leather that matches, but its $500 per hide(JESUS!) lol. I will probably buy 2 hides, should be enough for both seats and anything else i want to wrap in my interior. And i found foam that matches the probax feel, so i am thinking about just getting some old faded ripped ones and redoing them as well as getting the flipside customs brackets so i have adjustablility. Expensive, but hopefully awesome.

This is a single hide. That tiny thing in the middle is an entire Miata dashboard. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you only need one for the seats.

Looks like one hide will do the seats, door panels, and dash!! Man that was one big BEEF, would have loved to grill up that porterhouse!!!

the last hide i ordered(from the same people you got yours from) my hide was not that big. =( i ordered a full hide and the dash could be put on there maybe 3 times side by side. and it had alot of holes and nicks everywhere, and i dont want holes! haha. i will probably order 1 hide and see how it is.


unfortantly this will all have to wait until i get back from deployment though. =(
