Nardi Wheel Help!

I have this Nardi steering wheel and I need your opinion on if it can be refinished or is it too far gone, please let me know your thoughts. Sorry for the pics, it was really late when I got home and I just wanted some feedback.

I have refinished one similar condition to that, came out fine.

Yes I have also refinished one in worse condition with gouge marks. Are there any cracks in the wood?

It's pretty much toast. You should ship it to me & I'll toss it out for you. :p

So long as you're comfortable with the refinishing process, that's not bad at all. Might want to test any stains or clears you'll be using so that you can see how the color turns out...assuming that matters to ya'. ;)

I am going to finish it in a piano black or a dark gray high quality marine spar varnish!! I will do a Nardi refinish thread with pictures when the wheel arrives here in the U.S.
