Well, I am sick and dont feel like leaving the house, so I figured i would make a build thread.

I got my car back in July of 11. I had been looking around for a Miata for awhile (originally wanted a clean NA, but that was getting difficult)
Got a text from my dad asking if I had ever seen a gray miata with brown seats and I said yeah, but they are pretty rare. The next day, we were signing papers at the dealer :)

Really didn't do to much with it for the first few months I had it. I drove in my first Autocross even in September, got an eBay intake in October, and then got the windows tinted in January.

February came around and I was tired of driving without a bar, so I picked up a Harddog Hardcore M2 DD

May came along and I did my second autocross, was able to pick up about a second on my time (still not pushing the car as hard a I could)

and in August my tires finally got raped from my unaligned lowered car, so I got it aligned and picked up a set of Falken 912's for supppppper cheap ($300 shipped) also, I try'd the white letter look

Thats about it for now. Its my daily, I drive it all the damn time and I cant get enough of it. Got it with 67k, now has 81k. It puts a smile on my face everyday. Next up for the car is 5K hids (On the way) and I am waiting for a email for a GV lip

After that it will be wheels (Probably going with 15x9 Black 6UL's with 225/45 RS3's) and then its time to put away some money for boost :)

Finally got my HIDS from china land. They are 5K DDM slims 35w. More than happy with color and the new brightness is great!

Also had an autocross this weekend. Car felt awesome on the Vmaxx's and the Falkens weren't all that bad either (Still needs moar sticky) hopefully change that up next time (hope to have a little more power too :) )

I love them too, but they're heavy and not too many sweet tires in the size. Probably going to be getting some 15x8's as soon as I get this little clutch issue sorted out.

The other day the cars clutch basically fucking froze on me. Like I would push the peddle (it felt like it always has, not straight to the floor) but it was like it didnt exist lol.
I jacked it up and saw that it looks like my slave explode (there is a good amount of a fluid under the car)

So I ordered a new Master Cylinder/Clutch slave. Hoping that fixes my issues.

I don't even know if it is something that can be done (I dont know if Voodoo is set to run at a certain PSI or if it just adds fuel when needed (I am pretty sure its the latter)

You actually set the voodoo for the boost that will be used. Clever little box

Ah thats pretty sweet, was not aware of that.

I got the lip on today (Sourced my own hardware because I didnt trust the Four 1in screws that came with it)
Ill take pictures of my set up soon (I need to align the passengers side better.

Right now I just have the sides holding it up/whatever double sided tape was there
Drove up to 80mph tonight with no issues, Ill secure the bottom when i get it where I want it.

So just to clarify for everyone, FM was out of the 10lb flywheel so I had to switch my order to a 13lber.
Asked them when they would be getting them in stock they said March... I cant have my car down that long for 3lbs.

I mean it still drives, I drive it to work still. It just sounds like a POS.

So I almost sold the car last month, but the more I thought about it the more I couldnt do it. I love it too much and its way too much fun to sell and get a FWD car. So I am going to continue on with it. Next up is probably going to be an exhaust or an aftermarket wheel (Main reason I wanted to sell it was due to me hitting my legs on the wheel. I guess I could just take some Foam out, but I dont want to make the leather crack. So If a wheel doesnt fix my issues I will probably snag a Racing seat (Possibly 2 because I hate it when people dont match them up)

Oh and I will have a new look for Miatapalooza here in a few weeks :D

Also, I only have one racing seat...how tall are you, becuase I fit fine (even before the seat change) and I am 6'2''!

I am about 5"11 but I am a little over 200lbs.
NA's are a lot bigger (interior wise) plus NB2 seats have a boat load more padding (but I think the rails are a lot lower. So honestly if I could find a seat of cloth NB's to chop some foam out of that would probably be ideal.

I should probably quit riding in Speed 3's. Everytime I do I end up wanting one. lol

So I didn't post this on here, but last week I was driving and cracked the lip on a Speedbump. Didn't bother "fixing" it because I didn't think it would be a big deal. Well, I was wrong lol.

Driving 80MPH on the interstate, completely forgetting the fact that it had a crack in it, air went through the crack and completely tore it off on one side and it flew off. So I am lipless right now and I hate it. haha. Won't be buying another, a company really needs to make a polyurethane one for the NB2. The touge-run literally last me like 3 months.

Also on the hunt for MazdaComps now. Shopping around trying to find the lowest price. Shipping is friggen expensive though! $15 for too little pieces? just toss them in a bubble mailer!

Installed Mazda Comp Motor Mounts last weekend. Love them! Super nice feel and hardly any noticeable vibes at stoplights. Front of the drivetrain feels awesome now, but the rear doesnt feel nearly as solid. I need to get a set of ES Diff mounts next.

I pulled the VC off tonight as well as the radiator/fans to prep for tomorrows morning (well this mornings) installs:
