f1 for sure after seeing that pic! I like the lighting makes it my absolute favorite!

This pic is not necessarily representative of what the F1s look like. Nial did a long exposure to get this. It makes the faces look slightly translucent purple. They do NOT look like this to your eyes. The gauges are black as night and look quite opaque.

But it is a great photo.

The funny thing is, I've gone to great efforts to make my gauges opaque. Making a set of colored translucent ones would be pretty easy.

I think a very slight translucent look would be very cool, to much becomes "ebay-ish" but just a little would bring a cool contrast to the letters I think.

Now that I think about it, I think the Mazda logo was one of the biggest reasons I bought them. Something about it just looks... good. They look even better behind the KGW panel. It's like they were made for each other :)

Well..I love the look of the rossa 180 faces, especially when teamed with that awesome KG Works cluster - 630 (this is Rossa, the 180 is, well, rotated 180 degrees). But for my mx-5 rossa is just a bit to bright and not stock enough. It would have to be the F1 gauges (http://revlimiter.net/store/gauges-f1.php) for me - different enough to be interesting if you know what you're looking for, but in a way that's subtle enough that it wouldn't stand out too much on my nearly-stock UK mx-5. And with clear backlighting so I keep my options open! ;)

I would do a custom set to match the HVAC controls I purchased. I love the purity of old gauge designs from the 50's in old Italian, German, and American metal. So, perhaps and amalgam of the 1028 and Nutz gauge faces.
