So as time goes on with the G-String Bikini Top being out there more and more, naturally there will be some going up for sale on the used market. This post is for all of you who are considering purchasing a G-String used.

We have had a few people contact us AFTER purchasing their G-String asking us for help because the one they purchased was too short. We are assuming we don't hear about them being too long since they can technically be made to work if they are too long.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WE CAN DO TO FIX A G-STRING THAT IS TOO SHORT FOR YOUR SETUP.

It really puts us here at Project-G in a tough spot when this happens since we want everyone to have a great experience with our products. At the same time, there are many places on the web to find out if it will fit correctly BEFORE making the purchase.

So please take the time to REMOVE YOUR HARD TOP or PUT YOUR SOFT TOP DOWN and take the measurement that we request at the time of placing your order. Make sure the top you are considering purchasing is AT LEAST THIS LONG. NOT ALMOST, AT LEAST.

If your measurement tells you to purchase a 29" and the G-String you are considering is 28",
DO NOT PURCHASE IT. THIS IS NOT THE SIZE FOR YOUR SETUP. You cannot stretch it. You cannot leave it in the sun to make it fit. It will not be the correct size. You wouldn't buy 15" tires for your 16" rims, so don't buy a 28" G-String for your 29" setup.

Remember, this is not a cheap purchase and it's not something that can be fixed. The G-String is constructed to last for many years of use. Take the time to make sure it fits.

Of course we prefer you purchase directly from us so we have complete control over what is shipped to you, but we feel with a little research on your end, a good purchase can be made on the used market.

To make sure the top is the correct length for your application, measure the actual top from the very front of the front bow at the center seam to the very rearward edge at the center seam. This measurement should be the same as the length you would purchase. Any different and your setup is subject to fail.

We have had many people make this mistake and end up purchasing a new one directly from us. We are hoping to help you guys out so you can make a good, informed, purchase on the used market so there is no monetary loss on your end.

Hope this helps.
Good luck!
