already ordered a bunch of goodies to mod it with including:
Enthuza NA racer exhaust
voodoo shift knob
Clearwater headrest speakers(factory ones blown)
hella E-code headlights w/hella performance xenon bulbs
black style bar(i know most people are not fans of these but i like it and i am not running it at the track so i have no need for a real roll bar)
new AGM battery(westco that came with the car seems very weak)
LED reverse bulbs
some LED interior bulbs

this should get me started and hold me over for the winter for now. until spring when i really can enjoy the car after i spend the cold season learning the car some more. only owned the car a couple days but i love it more and more as i drive it. now i see why this car has such a devoted following. this thing is a blast to drive!

Interesting... is this going to be driven in the winter? In order to make these cars super lightweight the sheet metal is fairly thin. Salt will destroy a miata VERY quickly.

Not planning on driving it in bad weather. I will drive my truck but when the roads are clean in the winter I will drive it. I had to pick it up in the storm because the PO was moving to another state the next day so I had no choice.

well since my last post i have done a few small things. need to get picks the next time its nice out.

-LED interior light and flipped the whole housing upside down to direct the light up(more like straight out) more than straight down
-ditched the useless sun visors(blocked my foward vision)
-NGK plugs and wires
-Mobil 1 synthetic oil change
-undercoated the car
-vodoo shift knob (love the way it feels in my hand)
-LED reverse bulbs(i back in every where i park, makes it alot easier and they look nice)
-AGM battery
-Clearwater headrest speakers(better than stock, good but not great, new door components are in my future)
-hella E-code headlights w/hella performance xenon bulbs
-black style bar(i know most people are not fans of these but i like it and i am not running it at the track so i have no need for a real roll bar even tho i want one)
-Enthuza NA racer exhaust(love the way it sounds, very deep tone and louder than stock but not annoyingly loud at all) i highly recommend it!
-removed pitted miata badge on rear finish panel
-gave the chrome handles, mazda logo on rear, and frankenstien bolts a brushed look. the car is all black and i hate how much these stood out. the brushed look looks great!
-all the light lenses look cloudy and aged. buffed all of them with a polishing compound then waxed them with sealer and glaze. they look like new again and i can actual see a light output difference.
