This car has been in the family just sitting garaged since the mid 90's. It's just been an emergency car for the family, until I need to "borrow" it for an extended period of time. Then out of the blue, and some unsettled family debt, it was "handed" down to me. Well needless to say I can't leave anything "stock" so I started throwing money at it when I found the mods I thought it needed all along.

Made a bad front lip choice for the route I was going and added rocker stripes since I have a plotter just sitting around.

Sweet build so far, are those revlimiter gauges look awesome!

Did some basic maint, at 80k I figured its time to change the timing belt. My short nose crank was in mint condition I was worried about it but got lucky. Seals, water pump, hoses, and all belts were replaced while we were in there and we installed my aluminum radiator.

Thanks, jux. Just got back from a California, and some new to me parts arrived. ACT Pro-Lite/Exedy Stage 2 1.8L clutch. And some Retro modern side winkers.

Thanks WASABI, the family thinks I'm crazy, they like some of the mods and some they don't. It's my car now so there is not much they can say and I'm happy with what I have done and thats what really matters.

Made a custom wiring harness, hold down plate and installed COPS also pulled all the old ignition mounting plate and tucked the wiring while I was in there. Turbo install coming soon, I think I have everything on hand.

Finally got around to installing SS brake lines and SS clutch line, also bled all the lines to change out the 20+ year old fluid. This should have been done a long, long time ago.

The mudflaps have to be cut to fit the lips, I actually found a great deal on a set that was already cut, so I grabbed them. Over on another site there are templates for what and where they need to be cut.

I don't know if I would paint them with the lips, I kind of like the black with the black spoiler; can't decide, besides I paint them black again if I don't like them color matched.

Got to get some better pics of the tail lights!

Tested white letters, love them, so I ordered the infamous Icelandic Tire paint, will post better pics when redone. FYI anyone that wants to do this dont waste your time with the paint pens on the market. Upgraded tail lights in the works, pics to follow.
