After searching through the half dozen pages in the Exterior section here, I couldn't find a thread like what I was looking for.

I recall on another forum (which one, I can't recall...) that there was a thread of alllllll the various kinds of flares available for Miatas... I had wanted to find it and see if there were any that looked kinda duckbill.

By duckbill, I mean Terry Pham or JDMPalace's rear quarterpanels (I've seen others, but their's immediately come to mind.) I'm fully aware that they both rolled their fenders to make them look like that, but I was looking for a flare that could be bonded to the quarter which simulates this (as I have already cut my quarters for the mini-flares I'm running now.) I just don't want my car to look "bubbled", as most flares are convexed instead of concaved.

I can't seem to find anything of the like, though I've found some that are not convexed, like these which are straight out... though incredibly too wide

I suppose I could always shape and lay the glass for my own, unique, one-off concaved duckbill flares
...or maybe this would be a new idea for a body-kit maker?

lol, no, not much... but the wheels I'm awaiting are 15x7 instead of these 15x8's... so I've got my fingers crossed for better fitment and bonding these flares (or something concaved) into my quarters. Idk that there is a such thing as concaved flares though which is why I created this thread - perhaps someone else has seen what I'm looking for?

I don't need anything large, really, just something to bond into my cut quarters for a finished look.

You might want to look at the new, in the making phase, Autokonexion rear flares.

CF quarter panels!!! sexy!!!

i like the CF, but it's an extra 200 over the $350 for the pair...

also, thinking about it more, I'm not a big fan of an entire quarter overlay - cause i feel i'd have a recessed gas door and the trunklid would be lower than the quarters also... it wouldn't be well-aligned bodywork. i would need to raise the gas lid and the trunk lid to sit everything flush?

relocate the fuel lid to inside the trunk, it will look cleaner, and give added protection against people putting stuff in your gas tank

This might not be a good idea if you have a carpeted trunk. There is the potential for a static charge with a carpeted trunk and that could lead to an explosion when filling the tank. With a bare trunk I think you'd be safe.

My mini-flares are an eBay generic... But the other flares posted are made by companies specifically for the Miata and tend to be costly, at least a couple hundred bucks.

This is the closest that I know off that are made for the miata, and I think I've seen most of the flares out there now. They're made by: http://s2-racing.com/na.html and rev9autosport can probably get them for you.
