Hi can't seem to find any lead. I have a 5x114.3 rims from my ol' fling that I really want for my baby to wear. I'm wondering if I can retrofit an NC hub so I can let her wear them shoes. Any thoughts?

I seriously doubt it will work. Nothing NC will easily work on an NA/NB. I hope you find a better answer!

Not completely true... The shift knob will work! :D

No harm no foul. It is still an assumption till someone has actually tried. If they are seemly identical except for the bolt pattern difference of 4x100 vs 5x114.3 and if the gear teeth size and opening is the same then they will go into both the NA/NC axle. If the NA wheel hub was not bore to 4x100 it can be bored to any bolt pattern as far as the size of the hub will allow.

I'm just wondering if someone has actually attempted it or compare both side to side and did some measurements. What if my hunch is correct then this allow some of the 5x114.3 to be an option for both NA and NB.

Okay has someone rebore the NA hub to a different bolt pattern then? For one a 4x144.3 and other sizes I bet can be tapped it. Just wondering. No harm in imagining things anyways right?

BTW check out the parts # NC and NA both contain "33-04x". Just wondering.

i work at advance auto parts... this tempts me to pull hubs off the self and start measuring!!

Now there's some enthusiasm! Count the splines and caliper check the size. I really doubt they are much difference. The older RX-7 have similar parts with the NA/NB such as the swapping of diff internals. Way to go.....lets see some pics while you measure them lol.

If I recall correctly, I remember about reading some post over on another forum about using the RX-7 hubs on the NA or NB to make it a 5 lug but involves re-drilling the holes to make it so.

I think you should be able to use the hubs off a Mazda 323 V6...since you didnt get that one in the US, it might be worth checking the 626 or MX6 hubs instead.
Should be cheaper anyways :)

Any update on this? I have 5x114.3 wheels I would like to rock on my NA.
