I figured I should post this here eventually, since I'm kinda getting back into Miatas and waving goodbye to RX7s for the time being. Miss you guise :teehee: I'm finally building another Miata again, meaning I'll probably be here a lot more often. So, I've had this little guy for awhile now, and it's been a good daily, but with almost 300k on the clock, it's starting to get a little tired. Decided to build this thing up and shred with it. It's been sitting in my garage not moving for almost a year now, and I've been collecting parts for the same amount of time. Now, I've almost got everything I need, and I should have it together soon. The overall end goal will be an awesome car that I'll use primarily for drifting, but for pretty much everything else.

The car when I first got it about five years ago...decent shape

Repainted it, threw some Stance on and some 6ULs

I've got J Abbott's motor out of his 2011 FD car, and it's pretty awesome; Eagle rods, JE pistons, crank and head work, and all built by the man, Greg, at Millennium motors in Temecula. Abbott had around 400whp in this motor, but I'll be shooting for a nice 300 on e85 I'm thinking.

Picked up a Garrett GTX2860 .64 with a Tial ex housing, and a Tial MSV WG...all Vband!

Pulled the motor, and de-greased the entire bay, transmission, and power-plant frame

Motor's in!

Replaced pretty much everything; bushings, arms, wheel bearings, hubs, knuckles, sway bars, end-links, big brakes, lines, tie rods, ball joints...etc. Been kinda crazy, I almost feel like I'm restoring this car at the same time.

Just a small update today. I got my EUDM intake manifold in the mail, the exhaust manifold is done, and I picked up some 1000cc injectors from 949 (the plan is to run e85). The EUDM manifold is so much better; bigger runners, no VICs, better plenum, and no shitty vac barbs everywhere...it also looks cooler ;)
