these are the inner and outer pics of my convertible top by the windo with small holes in it...what is the easiest and best way to fix it WITHOUT replacing the top....thanks

Does anybody know of a urethane resen would melt the soft top?

i wouldnt know thats why im asking here....LOL...thanks driver for fixing title....ruckkehrmiata maybe someone will be able to answer that or have any other idea....i just dont want to get soaked by rain or ruin the interior when i wash my car

Just my first instinct is to go with a rubber-like resin, but a lot of the nicer ones melt plastic and whatnot.

If you don't mind seeing the area visibly patched, you can look into a marine vinyl patch kit. I used this kit on my NA top that had tears on the sides where it folds, and it is still holding up after several years of use. Basically, the kit comes with a tube of sealant and some vinyl patches.

Honestly, I'd look for a top from a Miata dismantler. Cheaper than a replacement top, and factory tops are way higher quality than replacements. Since they are generally sold with the frame, its also easier to install.
