On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago drives the Mazda Super20, a former SEMA show car built to celebrate 20 years of the Miata and to highlight the car's ties to motorsports. Packing R-compound rubber and a supercharger, this Miata is certainly capable. A trip to the test track and a mountain road will show us just how capable.

Maybe in a few more years when the price drops some more, I will buy one and strip the interior, add a few performance pieces and have a go.........

Wow that bumble bee is a specimen, I love the color and everything about it. Plus the exhaust note is nice.

Love the Super20 as well. The best interpretation of the NC I've seen to date. It's essentially the Targa package offered by FM for NC's no? Lovely thing.

How reliable are NC motors though? I believe jerzo-something popped one, at least according to his build thread on CR.
