miata steering wheels question

I have a base 96 and my steering wheel is made out of rubber and falling apart. My question is, would a steering wheel from an earlier 1.6 miata fit my car?

Yes..........and the older RX-7 SW's will too, and the Cosmo SW's also, I haven't found any other factory Mazda SW's that I like other than those!

Yes. All United States NA steering wheels are cross swappable.
